The Healing Lodge is a place of safety and healing. As such, it is expected that participants will follow the general rules and guidelines of the lodge to ensure a peaceful and safe co-existence. Shareholders will be given a copy of the Lodge’s “House Rules” during the Intake Process. This form must be signed to acknowledge the expectations of Shareholders. Residents who choose not to comply with House Rules will be requested to leave the lodge.

The use of alcohol, illegal drugs, and solvents by Shareholders in the Lodge will not be tolerated. Shareholders will be asked to leave the Lodge immediately if this condition is broken.

The Lodge is designated as a non-smoking environment. Matches and/or lighters are to be handed in to the counsellors. This is to ensure that the fire regulations are followed.

Emergency exits are identified and evacuation plans posted in each room. Shareholders are requested to read this information and participate in any fire drills.

All weapons are strictly prohibited from the Healing Lodge. Shareholders will be asked to leave the Lodge immediately if a weapon is found in their possession.

Profanity and derogatory language is not permitted in the healing setting of the Lodge.

Individuals and families will be assigned co-operative chores such as dishes, or sweeping floors. It is expected that the shareholders follow the schedule posted and complete any chores assigned to them.

All individuals and families are expected to participate fully in the program, which has been designed particularly for them by healers and counsellors.

Shareholders are requested to inform their counsellor if they are going to leave the Lodge or if they are expecting visitors to the Lodge unannounced.

All medication brought to the Lodge must be identified to a counsellor and logged in. It is the Shareholders responsibility to store any medication in a safe manner.

Violence of any form will not be tolerated at the Lodge. Residents will be asked to leave the Lodge immediately if they commit incidents of violence against ANY individual or ANY Lodge Property.
